About AMAEE

AMAEE is established and operates through a Cooperation agreement between interested companies producing, distributing and/or placing on the market microbial based products used in animal surroundings for other purposes than nutrition. It has no formal Association registration, but will seek registration under the EU Transparency Register.

The Cooperation is open to any legal entity established in the EU with corporate responsibility for a registered and continuous business activity in the production, formulation or distribution or R&D and innovation/development of microorganism-based solutions/products for non-nutritional use in animal surroundings.

The Members define the projects that are pursued by the Cooperation, including a yearly work plan, and the necessary budget. They prioritize these projects and/or elements of the work plan, and participate in the decided projects, assuring proper follow up. Each Member has the possibility to raise issues and/or bring project proposals to the others.

The Cooperation is aware and attentive to its obligations regarding competition law and membership wins explicit agreement to observe these rules, the guidelines issued by any relevant authorities with respect to competition law compliance and a “Modus Operandi – Competition Law” that the Cooperation has established.

Since its inception, the Cooperation has informed all operators it was able to identify about the initiative and invited them to join. Membership remains open and any operator meeting the membership criteria can join the Cooperation.
